Haakaa Silicone Breast Pump

When I had first started breastfeeding I was fortunate enough to also have my closest girlfriends on the journey with me. We had a baby boom in our circle of friends (girls who hang together, cycle together!) Naturally we all had very different experiences while nursing our babies. Some of us had leaky boobs, some of the babies got hosed while nursing, some of us went through tons of nursing pads or our tops and bras got drenched.

Then we had our second babies, and the Haakaa Silicone Breast Pump was created! We now had a magical way to save all that breastmilk going to waste. There are so many ways to use this non-stimulating manual pump. Basically you hold the Haakaa to the non-nursing side to catch free flowing breast milk. Well then we found creative ways to attach the Haakaa to our nursing bras and tanks. Boom! Hands free.

A friend of mine was having some trouble with a clogged milk duct. She used the Haakaa with epsom salt and warm water to unclog it. I had also used the Haakaa Silicone Breast Pump to relieve engorgement when my baby slept through the night (occasionally) or when I forgot what side I last fed on.

The multiple functions of the Haakaa are truly amazing. To the inventors of the Haakaa Silicone Breast Pump, thank you!
